The merger between IDEAL PLM, Summ Systems and Pro-Step is now complete - the new company is called IDEAL GRP

The merger of three successful companies is now in the position to create unrivalled support and services for industrial digitalization

IDEAL GRP is now the largest Siemens Digital Industries Software partner in Europe, offering industry leading Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and Industrial Internet solutions. IDEAL GRP is uniquely positioned to provide unrivalled support and services to help customers’ success in their industrial digital transformation journey within the Nordic and Baltic region and even the wider business community.

World-class support at local level
The newly formed, merged business forms the digital solutions powerhouse, with 115 digitalization experts across the region, serving customers from 11 offices across the region with headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. The strong local focus that lies in the heart of all the three merged businesses, will continue as before.

“United as IDEAL GRP, we continue to provide solutions that best fit our customers’ needs. We are now offering a high-quality resource pool for the benefit of our customers across the region, however, keeping the nuances that are relevant in the local markets and what made us successful until now” comments Juha Takkunen, CEO, IDEAL GRP.

New brand, logo and website
IDEAL GRP has launched its new brand and logo in front of an audience of 430 customers at DigiForum, Tampere, Finland - the annual IDEAL GRP customer day earlier this year.

"The industrial world is experiencing a faster pace of innovation than ever before. Our new brand identity develops on what has worked well in the past and improves the focus on adding value to our customers today, tomorrow and beyond. We have brought in elements from each of the merging companies’ branding identities to the new visuals and created a look-and-feel that combines old with the new" comments Dick Nyström, Sales and Marketing Director, IDEAL GRP.
